A hand-forged coin pendant in 18k solid gold. 

Among the earliest recognized coinage of ancient Filipinos were small conical gold nuggets, in use from the 10th to 13th centuries. Their inscription has been read as the syllable ‘MA’ in ancient Tagalog script, thought to allude to Ma-i or Ma-yi, the name by which the Philippines was known to Chinese traders before Spanish contact. - Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
